It is true that there are people who are gifted with special powers such as your psychic abilities to see the future and predict things that others cannot. If you have found yourself with this precious gift, you can use it to help people for free or on a professional basis. But you must never get carried away by feelings of superiority and sheer pride because you will lose respect and even the gift itself. Here is how you should conduct yourself:
- Be polite
Politeness is a virtue that can help you from many unnecessary problems especially when people understand that you are gifted with something. There are people who may come for genuine help and others may just want to find weaknesses in you or work to make you fail. Regardless of their ambitions, always be polite and attend to them with due diligence because just like a psychologist, your psychic abilities should be aimed at helping others.
- Never use your psychic abilities to enrich yourself
Perhaps the most obvious reason why most people with this gift fail is the desire to get rich quicker by using their psychic abilities to gather material wealth faster. This may look like conning or even stealing and people will just stay away from you. Learn to be moderate in with your services fees and set standard rates that do not look exploitative because a person will want to see immediate results if you overcharge them and as you may guess, that is not very possible in the real world. And if they do not get what they want within the shortest time possible, they will come back and demand their money. If you won’t refund them, then be prepared for a fight or something worse.
- Sometimes help for free
We live in a world where nothing goes for free. But your psychic abilities cannot be matched with the knowledge of a programmer, or rocket scientist because unlike them, your is natural and theirs is earned the hard way. It makes sense when they charge for everything they do, but it will not look quite a good move for you to do the same because you have not paid anything to have such powers.
