The equinox, in the fall and spring, are the two days when night and day are equal. Spring equinox is on March 20, the first day of Aries. This is the first day of the natural, solar new year. Fall equinox is halfway through the year on the first day of Libra. This is around the time of the first day of fall.
The Spring Equinox Wakes Us Up
First, there is the breath of life. The spring equinox is the awakening of life. Seeds sprout. Plants grow. Babies are born. Flowers blossom. Moreover, we come to celebrate the fact that we inhabit the material world. This is the sign of Aries, the first born, the one who charges forth and enters this strange kingdom called Earth. This equinox is about entering, beginning, and becoming. It’s about being born. More specifically, it’s about the moment one realizes they’re alive. This is sentience. This is waking up after a long slumber and realizing that you’re no longer in the dreamland that is Pisces. It’s not psychic. However, it doesn’t have to be. After all, there is no clairvoyance without being able to see with tangible eyes, no telepathy without first having learned a language that can be spoken with a mouth and heard with ears.
The Fall Equinox Brings Us Together
It’s no accident that the second equinox happens in the fall in Libra. This is the sign of you-and-me, us together, partners, spouses, and equals. Yet, when you think about what holidays we celebrate after Labor Day, it makes sense. Autumn and winter holidays are all about being with the family, or with loved ones, or being thankful for these relationships. In the past, it made more sense, because cooperation is what got us all through the long, hard winters, or long, hard, dry seasons that came at this time of year. The more we want to relate to each other, the more we make connections, including psychic connections.
Thus, the day of equal light and equal darkness is a day of balance. (That’s what Libra is all about: balance.) The universe doesn’t work with our imposed limitations. Therefore, when we connect in material reality, we connect psychically.
Many people may experience this for themselves as they find themselves more psychically sensitive. Halloween is an especially psychic time. Those who are psychically sensitive may find they hear more thoughts, feel more vibes, and empathize more with not just the living, but the dead.
After the Fall Equinox, the Veil Between Worlds Thins
After September 21st, the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead gets thinner and thinner until October 31st, when it’s at its thinnest, when it’s easiest for souls to slip from the dimension of the dead back into the world of the living. It’s easier for mediums and psychically sensitive people to contact the dead and to receive messages. They want to come through and be with the people they love, because love doesn’t die.
And now is the best time to contact a medium to speak to those dearly departed who are on the other side.
