Scanning?

Scanning is a practice of reading or sensing someone remote, far away, or otherwise not connected to the reader. While it’s often only a view into someone’s psyche, it can provide a lot of details. It can show all sorts of things, from what a person is doing at the time, to their memories, to the places they go on the astral plane when they’re meditating or sleeping.

It’s actually quite useful to figure out what’s going on with someone you don’t know very well.

How does it work?

Scanning is like taking a look at someone or creeping them to see what comes up. You relax, meditate, and try to reach this person. In short, imagine that your mind is reaching out to them. Then, imagine that you’re grabbing at something. You should get an image in your mind, or have a strong feeling, or hear something. You may get an image of something that explains what you’re seeing, like a tarot card or symbol.

What if you’re blocked?

Here’s the beauty of scanning: you can see that someone is blocking you. You can also see passed the blocks sometimes. Most people are blocking specific things. They block their vulnerable sides. You can get an impression of someone despite their blocks.

Can you scan me?

I can. However, scanning doesn’t actually give you the deep insight you get from a person who consents to a psychic reading. It’s a scan, an overview, a quick look. Scans are just for getting an impression. You usually can’t give any advice or help someone based on them.

What can scans do?

Scans can show you someone’s immediate motivation or desires. It can show you what they’re feeling or thinking right now. It can give you an idea of the person they want to be.

It can also help you hone your own psychic abilities.
