What’s the Wheel of Fortune Card?

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about tarot cards lately. For the next few weeks, I’m going to try to focus on a specific major arcana card. I’m choosing major arcana cards at random. This week, I’ll start with the Wheel of Fortune card.

The Wheel of Fortune card is the 10th card in the major arcana. It comes between The Hermit and Justice. While it seems that this card signifies good luck, it actually signals a major change in the querent’s life. However, this doesn’t mean bad luck, either. It just means a change in fortune. It may not even have anything to do with luck.

A Major Change Is Coming

The Wheel of Fortune card shows up in a reading when a major change is coming. It could be good or bad in the short-term. However, this change is something important in the querent’s life, and it can’t be changed. This is destiny. This is something the querent must face. It could be something the querent has brought upon itself. It could be a change that simply happens to the querent.

What if the Card is Reversed?

It could mean a painful or hard change if the card is reversed. Also, it could mean that a hoped-for change is not what it seems. A reversed Wheel of Fortune card may also mean that the querent is trying to fight change and that is causing pain and suffering.

What to Do

The Wheel of Fortune card tells the querent to surrender to change. Things can’t be good all the time, but they can’t be bad forever, either. Things change, and time goes on. The Wheel of Fortune card also warns the querent that staying stuck in the past will make life terrible.

Stay tuned for the next major arcana tarot card!
