Alchemy: The Ancient Art of Transformation, Part I
}

Alchemy is the art of turning one thing into another.

You may know of alchemy as an ancient, medieval pseudoscience. Turning base metals into gold is one type of alchemical process. However, there is so much more to it than that. It’s the process of turning one thing into something very different by changing the energy in it. Alchemy is not changing matter as much as it is changing energy.

How do you change energy?

Many have ideas as to how to do this. Magicians use it to transform one energy into another. They can transform an emotion into an action, or the energy in an object. They will transform the energy of the will into physical reality.

However, regular people can also use alchemy to make changes in their own lives.

Change for good: so within, so without.

Much of the manifestation craze is based in the alchemical concepts that at a fundamental level, the energy hidden at the very core of something can be transformed to create something new. This goes for everything.

Thought makes action. Emotion makes action. Do you know anyone who just seems born lucky, or someone who always somehow has all the money they need and never question it? On the other hand, do you know anyone obsessed with not having enough money who never either has enough money or does anything to get more money?

Your thoughts affect your reality. This is one of the things that sets us apart from animals – that we can create thoughts and act upon them and that we can create a reality for ourselves independent of others and the environment.

It’s alchemy to transform your thoughts to thoughts of wealth, thoughts of success, thoughts of beauty, and thoughts of health. We know that the mind has some control over the body, and we know that people who are optimistic tend to make others give them what they seek.

How do you create this fundamental transformation?

Look to Part II in the next post.
