{
Hexes and Removing Curses: Part II
}

This is a continuation of a two-part series. You can read the first part here.

The difference between a curse and a hex.

Hexes are a slightly different breed from curses. A common misconception is that hex is another word for curse. A hex is actually a spell that a person performs in order to create a targeted, specific curse. A curse, on the other hand, is spur-of-the-moment, accidental, or created without magic. Curses are easier for psychics to lift; hexes are a bit tougher.

I can lift curses and hexes, but there’s a catch.

First, let me add that I can lift a curse. However, I can’t necessarily lift a hex, especially if it could be justified on some level. On that note, as I was with the woman who cursed her father without realizing it, I might be hesitant to lift even a curse.

A justified curse is not necessarily bad. Sometimes, it’s the best means of stopping someone who cannot otherwise be stopped. I’m not always so keen on lifting a curse without the accursed doing the work to get rid of the curse, like realizing that they’ve hurt people.

What makes hexes different.

However, hexes are a little different. Hexes that are successful are almost always the result of hurt feelings or anger at injustice. However, they’re also organized, well-thought out, and have a lot of energy behind them. They may also rely on demonic forces. Sometimes, there’s more than one person involved, and those people are sometimes quite adept at what they do.

A hex isn’t impossible to lift, but it requires trying to figure out who made the hex, why, and what exactly was done. On the other hand, I can lift a curse by sweeping away the cosmic dark cloud surrounding someone.

Can someone be cursed or hexed and not realize it?

Yes. As they say, haters gonna hate. That doesn’t necessarily mean you will succumb. If you’re successful, happy, or self-assured, someone will curse you at some point. That doesn’t mean it will work or that you will even be affected by it. It also doesn’t mean that anything bad that happens from the curse isn’t something you can’t bounce back from.

Another woman came to me asking for a reading. She was trying to decide whether to take an exciting new career direction in a place she has always wanted to live. However, the reason she was taking this new career direction was that someone had hexed her and she lost her job, effectively ending that part of her career. This woman was intelligent, vivacious, interesting, charming, and attractive. She was also hexed by a jealous co-worker. However, whenever the hex worked, it also backfired. Her boyfriend broke up with her. It was sad at the time, sure. Alas, she met her wonderful husband after that. She had to move out of her apartment and back with her parents. However, without work, she had opportunities to do amazing volunteer work that helped her begin this new phase of her career.

I was concerned that the hex would rear its ugly head again, since there was an entity involved, a tulpa, or servitor, that the hexing co-worker created.

The tulpa was running out of steam on this hex. It admitted that no matter what it did, it backfired. It was getting ready to give up by the time I sent it back to the hexing co-worker.
