{
Gifts for Psychics: Ranked by a Psychic, Part I
}

Usually, I wouldn’t post something like this, but I strongly feel that people will still keep asking me what to give psychically gifted people in their lives. Thus, I will answer, based on experience, what I think of 5 common gifts people want to give psychics and whether I think they’re a good idea.

Granted, these opinions are strictly my own, but I’ve ranked them from 1 to 5, with five being the best. While every psychic is different, hopefully, this helps.

Ranking Psychic Gifts

Gift #1: Antiques

Rank: 1 out of 5

Bear with me. This may seem like an unusual additions the list, but it’s actually a pretty common thing. Psychics may seem free-spirited, Bohemian, artistic, an interested in the past, And people tend to translate this into a desire to collect old things. Granted, a lot of people like interesting, quirky things from the past that are unique. However, for the psychic, things for the past are not always a good gift, especially if they carry a sad history with them. Psychics can pick up vibes from objects that were once owned by others. Sometimes, spirits attach themselves to objects. Most psychics don’t want to open the door to any type of energy or spirit.

There are exception  to this: If the psychic specializes in antiques and has a particular interest in old objects, or if the old object is cleansed of it’s previous energy.

Gift #2: Astrology Books

Rank: 2 out of 5

Unlike Tarot cards, astrology books could be very much appreciated or not really have any use. First, if your  psychic is also an astrologer, you’ll want to find out how experienced they are. Most major bookstores and retail chains will carry gimmicky, beginner type books. However, advance books for the professional astrologer are a little harder to come by. Somebody who has been studying astrology for a while or does it for a living may not be so interested in the book on birthday astrology or coloring the sun signs. If you’re not sure, it’s better to ask than to get your psychic a book that they can’t really use.

Gift #3: Tarot Cards

Rank: 3 out of 5

Tarot cards make great psychic gifts, if your psychic collects tarot cards, or if you happen to get the right deck. Some psychics prefer to use one or two decks that they have a very strong connection with, while others prefer to use different decks for different types of readings. Before you buy a deck, find out which type of tarot card reader you’re buying for. There’s so many different types of decks to choose from, and they’re something for just about everybody’s taste.

Gift #4: Incense and Smudges

Rank: 4 out of 5

Incense and smudges are usually pretty good psychic gifts. Many psychics like to use both. However, if not all psychics will use these things. In fact, there are many psychics were very sensitive to smells and fumes. These things are probably best given to psychic whom you already know to like incense and smudges.  Is best try to find quality incense and smudges. You may be able to find these in convenience stores and gas stations, but they may not be the real thing.

Gift #5: Candles

Rank: 5 out of 5

Candles make a pretty good gift in general, no? Who doesn’t enjoy the soft glow of incandescent light? Many psychics enjoy candle light, just like everybody else. Since many psychics tend to be sensitive to strong light, like florescent light, they tend to prefer natural light such as fire. Thus, candles always make good psychic gifts. You can even get vegan candles for those who don’t like to use animal products. Just be sure that you’re getting it in a color and scent that they like.
