{
Colors and Your Aura: What Do They Say About You?
}

What colors are your aura?

Yes, your aura can be more than one color. Usually, there is a predominant color, however, followed by secondary colors. This predominant color can tell about the state of your soul. The secondary colors tell about the state of your heart and mind.

The rainbow of possibilities

Auras can be just about any color imaginable, though usually, we only perceive the colors we can see with our own eyes. However, there are some psychics who can see the ultraviolet aura of especially spiritually evolved people. Even still, most people who see auras see them through their own lens. An especially evolved person may have a purple or magenta aura to a psychic.

But sometimes, it’s black and white.

Famed psychic Edgar Cayce saw auras in black and white. Good people had white auras, and bad people had black ones. I have known colorblind psychics who really couldn’t tell what colors they were seeing because they had nothing to compare it to. For example, a friend of mine with red/green colorblindness literally sees people with what can be described to the rest of us as brown auras, because that’s what those colors both look like to him.

Can you see your own aura?

The answer to that is maybe.

First, contrary to popular belief, auras are entirely subjective. This is why psychics can see different colors. We can only see the colors we know about. My wife hates shopping with me because I can’t tell maroon from raspberry or periwinkle from slate gray, or lemon from buttercream, so I’ve been told. To me, they’re red, blue, or yellow.

The difference is cultural, too. There are cultures where blue and green are the same color. In other cultures, what we consider light green and dark green are actually two different colors. Some cultures don’t see pink as distinguished from red, or purple as distinguished from blue, or orange as distinguished from red. This often occurs in places where there are no names for the colors of the rainbow. Does that mean that no one in those cultures sees auras?

I don’t think so. What I think is that everyone sees auras, but only some are attune to them. I think that only some people are naturally sensitive enough to distinguish the colors they see around people from the colors in the environment.
